Pie Pops

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Roll pastry dough on floured surface and cut desired shapes with 3-inch cookie cutter.
  3. Use a tiny cutter to make decorative desgin, if desired.
  4. Place bottom pastry piece on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Center lollipop stick onto bottom of dough.
  6. Add 1 full teaspoon pie filling.
  7. Cover with top pastry and crimp edges.
  8. Place decorative cut-out piece of pastry (if desired) on top of pie pop.
  9. Brush tops of pastry with egg wash.
  10. Bake at 375F for 15 minutes.
  11. Let cool completely before removing from pan.
  12. Tie with ribbon and share.
  13. For Cherry Chocolate Pie Pops
  14. Use 4 chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon cherry pie filling for each pie pop.
