Chicken with Curry-Oyster Sauce
- 1 Chicken thigh
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 clove Garlic (optional)
- 1 Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Plain flour
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Honey
- Slice the garlic and remove the core.
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate with 1 tablespoon of sake.
- Put the plain flour and curry powder into a plastic bag and shake to mix evenly.
- Then add chicken chunks and shake to coat.
- Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and add sliced garlic.
- Fry over medium heat until fragrant, then add chicken chunks skin side down and cook for about 6 minutes.
- Move the sliced garlic to the side, and if the garlic starts burning, take out and set aside.
- Turn chicken chunks over and cook another 5-6 minutes to cook through.
- Remove any excess oil with kitchen paper and add the sauce.
- Cook over high heat and coat the chicken with the sauce.
