Grandma's Recipe For Winter Potato Salad

  1. Cut the potatoes up and boil in well salted water until tender.
  2. Drain, return to the pan and shake gently over low heat to evaporate the moisture.
  3. Leave to cool.
  4. Finely shed the cabbage leaves, and massage with sugar.
  5. Leave to rest.
  6. Make the scrambled eggs.
  7. Drain the canned tangerine oranges and cut them up.
  8. Chop up the ham too.
  9. Mix all the ingredients from Step 2 into the pot with cooled potatoes in Step 1.
  10. Add the mayonnaise and pepper, and mix well.
  11. Fold the orange in at the very end.
  12. Finished.
