A Roast of a Different Color
- 1 lb boneless beef stew meat
- 1 (15 ounce) can beef broth
- 2 cups brown rice, cooked
- 10 ounces frozen green beans
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1.
- Place green beans and onion in crockpot.
- 2.
- Season meat with seasonings.
- Place in crockpot on top of beans and onions.

- Pour beef broth over meat.
- Add water if not enough to cover meat to keep from drying out while cooking.

- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- 5.
- Drain most of the liquid from crockpot (leave about 1 cup of broth).
- Add rice and stir everything until mixed well.
- Let cook until rice is heated through (about 30 minutes).
