Tuna in Yellow Broth (TONGKOL KUAH KUNING)
- 350 gr fresh tuna, cut to taste
- 4 red onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
- 1 thumb turmeric, pureed
- 5 finger starfruit, cut up
- 4 cayenne peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 red chilis, cut diagonally
- 1 stalk spring onion, cut into diagonal pieces
- 400 ml water
- to taste Sugar and salt
- Saute turmeric, onion, garlic and cayenne pepper until fragrant.
- Add the fish and a little water, and cook until the fish is cooked.
- Add finger starfruit, cayenne, sugar and salt.
- Cook until starfruit is wilted.
- Vegetables are ready to be served with a sprinkling of chives.
