Golobki Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe
- 1 med. size head cabbage
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 pound rice, cooked for 15 min & liquid removed
- 1 egg
- 1 sm. onion, grated
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Mix all ingredients together, except cabbage.
- Parboil cabbage and separate leaves.
- Trim hard stems.
- Put about 1/4 c. of the meat mix on each cabbage leaf and roll.
- Heat 1/8 c. of butter in bottom of casserole dish.
- Put cabbage rolls in and bake about 45 min at 350 degrees.
- Pour 1 can of Campbell's tomato soup and 1/2 can water over casserole, and bake for another 15 min.
- Serves 4.
