Apple Pudding Recipe
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Grnd cloves
- 1/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/4 c. Margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. Nuts, minced (optional)
- 1/2 c. Brown sugar (may use half honey, half brown sugar)
- 1 x Egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. Whole wheat or possibly unbleached flour
- 2 1/2 c. Apples, minced
- In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda, spices, salt and softened margarine; mix well, slowly adding the sugar.
- Add in egg and flour, blending thoroughly.
- Mix in apples.
- Pour into a buttered pan or possibly casserole; bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 min or possibly till the center is hard.
- Better if pecans or possibly walnuts are sprinkled over top before baking.
