Chai Tea

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the first six ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in milk.
  5. Return to a boil; boil for 1 minute, then strain.
  6. Stir in sugar until dissolved.
  7. Pour into mugs.
  8. Top each with whipped cream, cinnamon and a cinnamon stick if desired.
