Christi's Saturday night snack
- 1 small Red onion
- 1/2 packages bacon
- 1 packages aloute garlic & herb flavor cheese spread, or season your own cream cheese
- 1 fresh spinach leaf
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 olive oil
- 1 loaf french bread
- 1 fresh ground pepper to taste
- 1 butter
- preheat oven to 375
- wash & dry spinach, cut off stems.
- slice French bread into thin slices.
- butter both sides of bread, cook on stove top, both sides, til golden.
- remove place on cookie sheet, let cool while prepping other ingredients.
- slice tomatoes to fit on French bread slices.
- cook bacon.
- I use a bacon cooker for the microwave.
- slice onion.
- spread cheese unto French bread.
- assemble ingredients in following order.
- spinach, tomato, bacon, onion.
- drizzle with olive oil, follow with ground pepper.
- cook for 12-15mins keep an eye on it.
