Chicken Almond Bake Recipe
- 1 can water chestnuts, drain, rinse, chop
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can cream of celery soup
- 1 pkg. Rice A Roni fried rice mix with almonds
- Season pkg. from rice mix
- 1 (2 ounce.) jar pimento, minced
- 3 c. cooked chicken
- 1/3 c. celery, minced
- 2 tbsp. uncooked rice
- 1/3 c. onion, minced
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. water
- Brown all rice together in melted butter.
- Add in 1 1/2 c. warm water slowly, then add in season package, stirring frequently.
- Add in the remaining ingredients except chicken.
- Place chicken in long, greased baking dish.
- Pour rice mix over chicken.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min, then cover and bake additional 10 min.
