Cremat (Catalan Coffee)

  1. Warm brandy and rum in a small saucepan.
  2. In a flameproof 2 quart bowl combine brandy, rum, sugar, lemon peel, cinnamon sticks.
  3. Stir, then ignite mixture with a long wooden match.
  4. Stir and add coffee.
  5. When flame has extinguished, ladle into cups.
