Lemon Cream Braised Cabbage

  1. Heat a saucier pot or largish skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the shallot, lemon juice and cream.
  3. Once heated add the cabbage and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Mix to coat.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.
