Sweet and Salty - Sweet Potato Mochi
- 400 grams Sweet potato
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp White flour
- 1 tbsp Light brown sugar or white sugar
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- Wash the sweet potato, wrap it in plastic wrap, and microwave until soft.
- Transfer to a bowl and mash with a rolling pin.
- Add the katakuriko and flour and mix.
- Form into a roll and cut into 10 equal pieces.
- Put 1 tablespoon of oil into the frying pan and arrange the pieces of sweet potato in it.
- When both sides are golden brown, add the seasonings, coat both sides well, and they're done.
