Sloppy Joes
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1- 1/2 pound Hamburger
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 whole Carrot, Chopped
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 1/2 whole Red Pepper Chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 3 whole Mushrooms, Chopped
- 2 cups Tomato Sauce
- Sandwich Buns, To Serve
- Your Favorite Toppings (Cheddar Cheese, Tabasco, Etc.)
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- Heat a deep skillet to medium heat and add the olive oil.
- Add the hamburger and brown, about 5 minutes.
- Break up the hamburger as it cooks.
- Season the browned hamburger with Worcestershire sauce with salt and pepper.
- Add the vegetables to the hamburger pan and cook about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients.
- Mix in the tomato sauce over the vegetables and stir.
- Add the sauce into the skillet.
- Cook the sloppy joes for about 10 minutes.
- You may want to cover the skillet to prevent splattering.
- Stir often.
- Serve with bun of your choice and toppings like cheddar cheese, Tabasco, etc.
