Crustless Milk Tart Recipe
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 4 Large eggs, separated, whites beaten till stiff, yolks slightly beaten
- 1 c. flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease two 9 inch pie plates.
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Add in 4 slightly beaten egg yolks, beat till creamy.
- Sift dry ingredients together.
- Add in to sugar mix.
- Mix till smooth.
- Slowly add in 4 c. lowfat milk mixing continuously so mix stays smooth.
- Add in vanilla.
- Gently mix in egg whites.
- Pour into two 9 inch pie plates.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake for about 45 min or possibly till center nearly hard.
- Lowfat milk tart will become completely hard as it cools.
- It also looks puffy as it comes out of the oven and becomes flat as it cools.
