Juicee's blueberry sugar cakes
- 1/2 cup Shortning
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 Eggs
- 2 cup All purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 cup Milk
- 3/4 cup Fresh or frozen blueberrys
- Preheat oven to 400
- In a large bowl add shortning, sugar, & salt.
- Using a wooden sooon blend together until well mixed.
- Gradually stir in eggs one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, sift flour & baking powder together, add to wet mixture.
- Add milk gradually & beat mixture for 60 strokes until dough is smooth & satiny.
- Carefully fold in blueberries.
- Spoon batter into well greased muffin pan.
- Bake about 15 to 20 minutes, or until wooden pick comes out clean.
- Chill at least 2 hours....& enjoy these tastey thangz...:)
