Smokey Chowder Recipe

  1. Cook bacon in Dutch oven or possibly large heavy pan.
  2. Remove bacon and reserve, drain off all except 2 Tbsp.
  3. bacon grease.
  4. Cook onion till limp and translucent/soft.
  5. Add in cubed potatoes and sufficient water to just cover.
  6. Bring water to boil.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer till potatoes are done.
  8. Stir in lowfat milk, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke.
  9. Bring back to a simmer.
  10. Add in fish and cook till fish are done.
  11. Stir in reserved bacon.
