Adzuki/Aduki Red Bean Veggie Burgers With Dulse
- 1 cup cooked adzuki beans (about 1/2 cup dry)
- 1 yellow onion
- 12 cup breadcrumbs
- 13 cup carrot, shreds
- 14 cup dulse flakes (flakes are better than leaves)
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder (or ginger powder)
- 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce
- 12 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 egg whites (or 1 whole egg)
- Peel the onion and chop it up in a food processor.
- Put the rest of the ingredients in the food processor, and pulse until it forms a completed mixture, scraping down the sides with a fork or rubber scraper.
- Put the mixture into a bowl, cover, and refridgerate for 30-60 minutes.
- After it's done refridgerating, mold into 4-6 patties.
- Heat a little olive or grapeseed oil in a saucepan, and cook each patty for 8-10 minutes on each side.
- Serve with a nice dipping sauce and your favorite leafy greens for a complete meal!
