Hellfire Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp confectioners' sugar
- 4 oz bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- Combine the milk, cayenne, and allspice in a small saucepan and heat slowly to just under a boil, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chocolate and stir continuously with a wooden spoon until completely melted.
- Add the confectioners' sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes.
- Return to the stove over low heat and gently return to a simmer before serving.
- Serve immediately.
