Shephard's Pie Recipe
- 1 lb any ground meat (pork, hamburger, venison, lamb and turkey alll work great)
- 1 onion coarsely chopped
- 1 10 oz can tomato soup
- 1 10 oz can mixed veggies-drained or 1 10 oz bag frozen mixed veggies (or veggie of choice)
- 1 tsp worchestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- Prepared instant mashed potatoes for topping (at least 6-8 servings worth
- 2 cups shredded cheese in flavor of choice (our family prefers cojack or mild cheddar)
- 1.
- Combine the ground meat and onion.
- Brown in a 12" skillet.
- Drain grease.
- 2.
- Add your tomato soup, veggies, worchestershire sauce, salt & pepper.

- Cook until reduced
- 4.
- Put mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish.
- 5.
- Put mashed potatoes on top.
- Spread to the edges.
- 6.
- Spread shredded cheese over the top.
- 7.
- Warm in 375 oven for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Or if you prefer place in microwave and cook for 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Rotate dish halfway through cooking time.
