Sauteed String Beans

  1. In a large pot of boiling water blanch the beans - 2 - 3 minutes.
  2. In a heavy skillet saute the beans and garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients except cornstarch and water.
  4. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth.
  5. Add to beans tossing to thicken the sauce and serve immediately.
