Mud Cake
- 1 (18 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
- 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, softened
- 3 34 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 4 -5 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Mix cake according to package instructions; fold in 1 cup pecans.
- Put into a greased 13x9 baking pan.
- Bake at 350* for 35 minutes, or until done.
- Cool for 4 minutes; carefully spread with marshmallow creme.
- Cool completely.
- In mixing bowl, cream butter.
- Beat in sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and milk.
- Fold in pecans.
- Spread over the marshmallow.
