  2. Toast the bread slowly on a rack at 250 degrees F, until golden and well dried.
  3. Let cool.

  5. Place a slice of cheese on top of each toast and cut into four squares.
  6. Set the cheese squares aside.

  8. Slather a healthy dose of mayonnaise onto each toast, place the tomato on top, then the bacon, then the cheese.

  10. Return to the oven and cook for approximately 4 minutes more until the cheese bubbles.
  11. Serve immediately!
