Caramel Cashew Squares

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Place brown sugar in medium bowl; cut in 1/4 cup butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add flour and salt; mix well.
  4. Press mixture onto bottom of ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.
  5. Bake 11-13 minutes or until set.
  6. Melt butterscotch chips, corn syrup and 2 tablespoons butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 2-3 minutes or until smooth.
  7. (Do not boil.)
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Stir in cashews.
  10. Pour cashew mixture over hot, partially baked crust.
  11. Continue baking 8-10 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and set.
  12. Cool completely.
  13. Cover; store refrigerated.
  14. Cut into bars.
