Broccoli Casserole #2 Recipe
- 2 Packages frzn broccoli
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 sm. can mushrooms
- 1/2 roll garlic or possibly sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can water chestnuts
- Bread crumbs or possibly Pepperidge Farm stuffing (fine)
- Prepare broccoli as directed on package.
- Saute/fry onion in butter; add in cream of celery soup, mushrooms, and cheese.
- Cook till cheese is melted.
- Add in Worcestershire sauce.
- Place broccoli in a long casserole dish; place water chestnuts over broccoli.
- Pour sauce over broccoli and water chestnuts.
- Top with bread crumbs or possibly stuffing.
- I use Ritz cracker crumbs cut up fine.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
