Rose Wine-Butter Glazed Peaches With Fresh Mint

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add lemon juice and peaches.
  3. Turn peaches over and over to coat with butter.
  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar and add wine to pan.
  5. Poach over low heat, turning often, about 15 minutes or until peaches are heated through and lightly glazed.
  6. Push peaches to one side and stir in cream.
  7. Bring just to the boil; immediately lower heat and simmer several minutes.
  8. Serve peaches warm with some of the wine-cream sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  10. Good over scoops of ice cream, if desired.
