Cornflake candy
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 cup corn flake cereal
- Combine corn syrup and sugar in saucepan over medium heat, stir until sugar is dissolved.
- When it begins to boil remove from heat.
- Add peanut butter and vanilla, stir until creamy and smooth.
- Add corn flake candy 1 cup at a time stirring in until coated with mixture.
- Work quickly, it begins to harden, I broke my wooden spoon.
- Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto wax lined cookie sheet.
- Let cool.
- Store in container, or stuff your face to your hearts content.
