Beef Pot Roast Recipe
- 2/3 c. unsifted flour
- 4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 7 1/4 pound chuck roast or possibly 6 1/2 pound boneless round roast
- 1/4 c. fat or possibly oil
- 1 c. water
- Mix flour, salt and pepper.
- Coat meat with mix.
- Heat fat in heavy pan.
- Brown meat on all sides.
- Add in water as needed to prevent over browning.
- Cover tightly and cook over low heat or possibly in 350 degree oven till tender.
