Easy Seafood Chowder Recipe
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 c. celery, minced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. half and half
- 6 to 8 ounce. crabmeat
- 1/2 pound sm. shrimp
- 1/4 c. sherry
- 1/4 tsp., ore more, curry pwdr
- Parsley
- Paprika
- Saute/fry onion and celery in butter in a heavy saucepan.
- Add in soups, lowfat milk and cream and simmer till thick.
- Combine shell fish with sherry and curry pwdr.
- Add in to soup.
- Heat gently.
- Taste and add in a little more curry pwdr, if you like.
- Serve garnished with parsley and paprika.
- Makes 2 qts.
