Spicy Plum Sauce

  1. Drain plums, reserving juice.
  2. Seed and quarter plums; set aside.
  3. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, and allspice in a heavy saucepan, mixing well.
  4. Stir in plum juice.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
  6. Add lemon juice and butter; stir until butter melts.
  7. Stir in plums.
  8. Serve sauce warm with pork.
