Spinach Calzone
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
- 1- 1/2 cup Frozen Spinach
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 cups Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 10 whole Sheets Of Phyllo Dough, Thawed
- 1/4 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add spinach and garlic and saute for approximately 10-15 minutes until the flavors begin to meld and the water is cooked out of the spinach.
- Remove from heat and mix in the salt, pepper and feta cheese.
- Spray a small (8x8) casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Lay 5 of the dough sheets in the bottom of the dish.
- Place the spinach mixture in the middle of the dough sheets and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
- Place the remaining 5 dough sheets on the top.
- Fold the edges of the bottom layer of phyllo dough over the top edges of dough and roll/pinch to seal.
- Bake in a 350 F oven for approximately 30 minutes or just until the dough begins to crisp up and turn golden brown.
