Basmati Pilaf With Vermicelli and Onions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
  3. Add 3/4 cup onion; cook 3 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently.
  4. Add basmati rice and pasta; cook 2 minutes or until rice is opaque, stirring frequently.
  5. Stir in chicken broth, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven.
  9. Let stand 15 minutes.
  10. Uncover, stir in parsley and green onions.
