Traditional Rice Crispy Bars

  1. Grease 9x16 pan, extra large bowl, & rubber/silicone spatula.
  2. Dump half the cereal in the greased bowl.
  3. There's two ways to melt the marshmallows.
  4. For microwave cooks: combine butter and marshmallows in a large, microwavable bowl.
  5. Zap for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir and heat 30 seconds.
  7. For stove-top cooks: Melt butter in heavy-bottom saucepan.
  8. Add marshmallows.
  9. Stir continually until completely melted.
  10. Pour melted marshmallows in the bowl.
  11. Dump remaining cereal in the bowl.
  12. Using the greased spatula, stir the mixture.
  13. Grease hands.
  14. Press mixture into greased pan.
  15. Enjoy!
