Herb and Cider Jelly
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs, (sage, tarragon, thyme)
- 1 cup clear apple cider
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin
- HEAT cider and herbs to boiling in a medium saucepan.
- Set aside to steep for 5 minutes.
- ADD sugar and vinegar.
- STIR over medium high heat.
- Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- IMMEDIATELY stir in liquid fruit pectin.
- LET stand 5 minutes, stirring constantly to distribute herbs.
- POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4-inch from rim.
- SEAL while hot with sterilized 2-piece lids with new centres.
