Slow-Cooker Home-Style Beef
- 3/4 cup beer
- 2/3 cup Kraft Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce, divided
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 4 onions, sliced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 boneless bottom blade pot roast (2 lb./900 g)
- 2 tsp. corn starch
- Mix beer, 1/2 cup barbecue sauce and mustard.
- Place onions in slow cooker; top with meat and sauce.
- Cover with lid.
- Cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 5 to 6 hours).
- Remove meat and onions from slow cooker, reserving liquid in slow cooker.
- Cover meat and onions to keep warm.
- Whisk corn starch and remaining barbecue sauce in small bowl until blended; whisk into liquid in slow cooker.
- Cook, covered, on HIGH 10 min.
- or until thickened.
- Drizzle meat and onions lightly with sauce.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
