Bruschetta With Tomato and Basil Recipe
- 6 roma tomatoes, chopped small
- 6 fresh basil leaves, chopped fine
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 12 teaspoons balsamic vinaigrette
- 14 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 6 ciabatta rolls, cut in half
- mozzarella cheese (optional)
- Dice tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic cloves and marinade in balsamic vinaigrette and extra virgin olive oil for 2 hours.
- Preheat oven at 450 degrees.
- Cut ciabatta rolls in half.
- Lightly coat one side of each bread slice with olive oil using basting brush.
- Bake bread oil side down on top oven shelf for 5-6 minutes.
- Serve bread oil side up and top with chilled bruschetta.
- Top bruschetta with mozzarella if desired.
