Lattice Chicken Hotdish

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine soup, milk, seasoned salt, chicken, frozen veggies, half of the cheese and half of the French fried onions.
  3. Spray a 9x13 casserole pan with cooking spray and spread the chicken mixture in the bottom of the pan.
  4. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the mixture is hot.
  5. My oven takes longer because the temperature is off.
  6. Open the crescent roll dough and cut into strips.
  7. Uncover the hotdish and cover with the strips of dough in a lattice top design.
  8. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes longer, until the crescent dough is baked.
  9. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and French fried onions.
  10. Bake for 5 more minutes, until cheese is melted.
  11. Serve hot.
  12. Note: I had to adjust the original recipe to the times for my oven.
  13. If I have time and remember, Ill put the bag of veggies in the microwave for a couple minutes so theyre not frozen.
  14. It wont take as long to bake then.
  15. Enjoy!
