Bea's 24 Hour Cabbage Slaw Recipe
- 1 med. cabbage head
- 1 sm. onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 c. oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- Mix cabbage, onion, bell pepper and sugar and set aside.
- heat the vinegar, oil, salt, celery seed and prepared mustard.
- While mix is still warm, pour over the cabbage mix.
- Cold, put in jars with a lid and let stand 24 hrs.
