Three Layer Chocolate Bar Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. Hersheys Cocoa, divided
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 (14 ounce.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed lowfat milk (not evaporated)
- 1/4 c. all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3/4 c. minced nuts
- 2 c. (12 ounce. pkg.) Hersheys semi sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine crumbs, 1/4 c. cocoa, sugar and butter.
- Press firmly on bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
- In large mixer bowl, beat sweetened condensed lowfat milk, flour, remaining 1/4 c. cocoa, egg, vanilla and baking pwdr.
- Stir in nuts.
- Spread proportionately over prepared crust; top with chips.
- Bake 20 to 25 min or possibly till set.
- Cold; cut into bars.
- Store tightly covered at room temperature.
