Easy Italian Casserole

  1. Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic until brown; drain.
  2. Stir in sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
  3. Heat to boiling, stirring, and reduce heat.
  4. Simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
  6. Mix Bisquick, milk and egg.
  7. Spread half in pan.
  8. Top with 4 slices of cheese.
  9. Spoon beef over cheese.
  10. Top with remaining cheese slices; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  11. Drop remaining dough by spoonful onto cheese and bake at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes.
  12. Serves 6 to 8.
