Brad's home made mojito mix

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 2 tsp dried mint leaves
• 1 juice from 2 sm limes

1. add all to a saucepot bring to a boil
2. remove from heat and let cool
3. strain and mix with light rum
4. if desired garnish with a fresh mint leaf, or lime wedge.
5. lemon balm also works with this recipe
