No Mess Lasagna
- 5 c. spaghetti sauce
- 12 oz. raw lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, uncooked
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 8 slices American cheese
- 8 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- Parmesan cheese
- Pour 1 1/2 cups of spaghetti sauce into a 9 x 12-inch lasagna pan.
- Add a layer of raw noodles.
- Add 1/2 of the meat in small chunks.
- Sprinkle with onion and spoon on the cottage cheese. Cover with 1 1/2 cups of sauce, then a layer of noodles.
- Layer the sliced American cheese and rest of meat in small pieces.
- Pour on 2 cups sauce.
- Press down.
- Pour hot water gently over top.
- Press down again.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350u0b0.
- Remove foil.
- Cover with Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake uncovered another 15 to 20 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Serves 12.
