Vietnamese Pork Burgers
- 1 pound pork lean, ground
- 3 each garlic cloves chopped
- 2 each scallions, spring or green onions chopped
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce, tamari
- 2 teaspoons peanut oil
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 x hoisin sauce
- 1 x lettuce leaves whole
- 1/2 cup peanuts roasted, coarsely ground
- 1 Handful cilantro coarsely chopped
- Mix meat with garlic, onions, soy sauce, peanut oil, sugar and Tabasco or cayenne.
- Form into patties and grill until cooked through.
- Serve each grilled patty spread with hoisin sauce, wrapped in a leaf of lettuce, sprinkled with peanuts and cilantro.
