Hanpen Fish Burgers
- 1 Hanpen
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp Relish (or chopped pickles)
- 1 tbsp White flour
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 Hamburger buns(or store-bought)
- 1 slice Sliced cheese
- 1 Panko
- 1 Frying oil
- 1 Margarine
- 1 Lettuce
- Mix together the ingredients in a bowl to make the batter.
- Dredge the hanpen in the batter, then coat it in the panko, and then fry in oil.
- Mix together the ingredients to make the sauce.
- Cut the hamburger buns in half and warm in the microwave.
- (About 20 seconds at 500 W)
- Spread margarine on the warmed buns, then top the bottom bun with lettuce, sliced cheese, the fried hanpen, sauce, and the top of the bun.
- Enjoy!

- This is the relish I used.
- It's made from sweet chopped pickles with herbs and spices.
