Hanpen Fish Burgers

  1. Mix together the ingredients in a bowl to make the batter.
  2. Dredge the hanpen in the batter, then coat it in the panko, and then fry in oil.
  3. Mix together the ingredients to make the sauce.
  4. Cut the hamburger buns in half and warm in the microwave.
  5. (About 20 seconds at 500 W)
  6. Spread margarine on the warmed buns, then top the bottom bun with lettuce, sliced cheese, the fried hanpen, sauce, and the top of the bun.
  7. Enjoy!

  9. This is the relish I used.
  10. It's made from sweet chopped pickles with herbs and spices.
