Ayam Masak Lada Hitam (Chicken Black pepper Sauce)
- 1/2 kg chicken, cut into 12 small pieces
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cm ginger, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp margarine
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1/2 onion, slice thinly
- 1 big red chilli, slice thinly
- 1 leek, slice thinly
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 or 1 tsp blackpepper
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch chicken powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch + 1 tsp water
- Marinade chicken with marinade ingredients for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oil and fry chicken till crispy.
- Set aside.
- Preheat margarine in wok till melted.
- Add onion, garlic, chili, and leek.
- Cook with low heat till half golden brown, pour on sesame oil, soy sauce, black pepper, salt, and chicken powder stir it well.
- Add cornstarch liquid into sauce, stir until thickened and add fried chicken.
- Remove from heat and serve with rice and vegetable.
