Chicken With Ham Recipe
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 6 thin slices ham
- 1/2 tbsp. basil
- 2/3 c. grated Swiss cheese
- TIP: Use the same amount of butter and oil when browning to prevent burning.
- Rinse chicken; pat dry with paper towel.
- Remove skin.
- Saute/fry chicken in heated butter and oil on both sides till brown.
- Alternately arrange chicken and folded ham slices in buttered baking dish.
- Sprinkle with crumbled basil.
- Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 15 min.
- Sprinkle with the cheese.
- Bake 10 min longer (or possibly till chicken is tender).
