Chicken With Ham Recipe

  1. TIP: Use the same amount of butter and oil when browning to prevent burning.
  2. Rinse chicken; pat dry with paper towel.
  3. Remove skin.
  4. Saute/fry chicken in heated butter and oil on both sides till brown.
  5. Alternately arrange chicken and folded ham slices in buttered baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle with crumbled basil.
  7. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 15 min.
  8. Sprinkle with the cheese.
  9. Bake 10 min longer (or possibly till chicken is tender).
