Far Western Salsa
- 3 (28-ounce) cans whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 (3 1/2-ounce) can green chiles, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons Susie Q's Santa Maria Seasoning, recipe follows
- 2 to 3 drops hot sauce (recommended: Tabasco sauce)
- In a bowl, mix together all ingredients, making sure to break up the tomatoes to your desired consistency.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes and then serve with your favorite chips.
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Parsley, minced
- Sugar
- Blend all ingredients, to taste, together in a small bowl.
- Use to season your salsa.
