Tuna Potato Tureen Recipe
- 1 (5 1/2 ounce.) pkg. scalloped potato mix
- 5 c. boiling water
- 1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (9 1/2 ounce.) can Chicken of the Sea light tuna, undrained
- 1 tbsp. instant chopped onion, or possibly fresh grated
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Garlic flavored croutons (opt.)
- In large saucepan, combine potato mix and water; bring to a boil.
- Cover and simmer 20 min, or possibly till potatoes are tender.
- Add in tomatoes, undrained tuna, onion, celery salt and pepper.
- Simmer five min.
- Pour into tureen.
- Serve, garnished with croutons if you like.
