5 Minute Bread Pudding Recipe

  1. Heat a griddle pan over medium heat.
  2. Cut 4 thick slices of cinnamon raisin bread.
  3. Butter both sides of the bread slices with softened butter.
  4. Grill bread till brown and crispy on both sides, 2 min on each side.
  5. While bread grills, in a small saucepot, heat sweetened condensed lowfat milk or possibly reduced fat sweetened condensed lowfat milk over medium-low heat for 4 min.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in brandy.
  7. Cut each grilled slice of bread into quarters and pile into 4 dessert c.. Top bread with a few spoonfuls of hard sauce of sweetened condensed lowfat milk and brandy and a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  8. Garnish cream with a sprinkle of nutmeg and serve.
  9. This recipe yields 4 servings.
