Thanksgiving Cottage Pie #SP5

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F if cooking turkey.
  2. Oven ready turkey (from freezer to oven) is easiest.
  3. Cook turkey for approximately 2 hours, 15 minutes.
  4. Once turkey is cooked, chop into small pieces and add gravy.
  5. Spray a large casserole dish (13 x 9).
  6. Add turkey mixture.
  7. Spread evenly on bottom.
  8. Using butter, prepare boxed stuffing according to the package directions.
  9. Add this on top of the turkey layer.
  10. Spread the mashed potatoes on top of the stuffing.
  11. Cover with foil.
  12. Cook for 35 minutes, then remove foil and cook another 10 minutes until it starts to brown on top.
  13. Cut into equal servings and enjoy!
